Why this layer exists
A bare number is easy for an AI system to quote incorrectly. A knowledge object gives the number a care type, geography, metric, provenance and methodology. That makes the site more useful even when a future search agent never visits the webpage itself. Apparently the web is now training its own replacements. Charming.
