Our editorial goal is to publish decision-useful senior-care information without inventing prices, provider claims, ratings or eligibility statements.

Source priority

We prioritize New Jersey government agencies, federal agencies, official program documentation and provider information that can be independently checked.

Corrections and updates

Time-sensitive claims should show a source and review date when added. Unverified claims should not be presented as fact.

Find the Right Senior Care Option

Compare care types, locations and payment considerations before deciding which providers to contact.

Start With the Care Assessment Guide

Local-page publication standard

We do not publish a city or county page merely because a place name can be inserted into a template. A local page must provide distinct decision value through local context, verified provider or cost evidence when available, payment considerations, meaningful nearby alternatives, or other location-specific information. If a proposed page cannot add enough unique value, it should be merged into a stronger regional page, kept out of the index, or not created.

Duplicate-intent control

Search terms with substantially the same intent are consolidated into one page. Separate URLs are reserved for materially different decisions such as general assisted living, cost, memory care, or Medicaid/MLTSS. We do not create multiple near-identical pages simply to capture wording variations.

Doorway-page control

Every local page must remain useful if its conversion CTA is removed. Pages whose primary purpose would be to funnel visitors elsewhere without independent informational or decision value are not suitable for indexing.

AI and citation readiness

Where useful, pages use direct answers, text tables, source labels, review dates and explicit data-quality notes so search engines and AI systems can distinguish verified facts from general guidance. We do not invent local averages, facility counts, ratings, availability or program participation to fill a template.

Content-quality controls

See the thin, duplicate and doorway-page control system used before new pages are promoted into the index.
